Paul Sibson

Paul is a former Teacher and Primary School Principal (UK, NZ) with an unwavering passion for supporting student learning through technology.
Armed with a Master's Degree in ICT in Education, Paul spent his pre-Hero career teaching and leading schools in both London and New Zealand.
Paul knows firsthand the challenges faced by educators and students alike. As a Primary School Principal frustrated by the lack of a suitable system to meet his school's reporting, communication and student administration needs, he developed his own - founding Hero (formerly Linc-Ed) in 2013.

I have 15+ years of experience as a quality focussed and innovative technical leader who excels at creating products and systems that users love. I am as happy coding as establishing and leading technical teams. I have experience in the visualisation of complex data, navigation, mapping, and specialist UIs across multiple industries including real estate, online retail, phsyical hardware, mobile phone apps and mobile operating systems. I have worked in senior technical and leadership roles, often cross functional and cross site, at Harcourts, Trade Me, TomTom and Nokia.
