Are you an EdTech provider looking to make a global impact? Here’s your chance—UNICEF’s Learning Cabinet has opened a new call for applications, and they’re looking for innovative solutions from around the world, including Aotearoa New Zealand.
What is the Learning Cabinet?
The Learning Cabinet is a curated global repository of independently assessed EdTech solutions led by UNICEF, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and ARM. Its mission: to help governments and partners identify trustworthy, evidence-based, and scalable EdTech tools to address the global learning crisis—especially in countries where the learning gap is greatest.
Why Should You Apply?
- Independent Quality Assessment: Your solution gets a structured, expert review aligned with international standards for safe and effective EdTech.
- Global Visibility: Listed solutions are showcased to UNICEF teams, governments, donors, and partners worldwide.
- Opportunities for Country Matching: Your product could be selected for national pilots, deployments, or large-scale programmes—especially in low- and middle-income contexts.
- Credibility: A Learning Cabinet listing is a trusted signal for potential partners, funders, and policy makers.
Who Should Apply?
EdTech providers whose solutions:
- Support teaching and learning (early childhood to vocational, including teacher development)
- Are live and actively used
- Have evidence of positive learning or teaching outcomes
- Commit to responsible data protection and child-centered design
UNICEF is especially interested in tools that empower teachers, support foundational learning, and build future skills. Digital, blended, and offline-first solutions are all eligible.
