The Annual Pacific Digital Stories showcase

Tālofa lava, Mālō e lelei, Kia Orana, Noa’ia, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Mālō ni, Ni Sa Bula Vinaka, Mauri, Tenā Koutou Kātoa and warm Pacific greetings.

The Annual Pacific Digital Stories showcase is taking place tomorrow, Saturday 30th July with a SOLD OUT session. This year’s theme is Folau fa’atasi i luma – Voyaging forward together.

Pacific Kids’ Learning will be presenting a diverse body of work that demonstrates to our collective communities the exciting opportunities that the digital space provides to keep our histories, languages and cultures thriving into the future.

The Pacific Digital Stories Project provides opportunity to share meaningful contributions to the digital space, co-designed with local communities, underpinned by core Pacific values, and driven by research data in addition to the histories shared by our knowledge custodians. With the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, a collection of children’s digitally animated stories and songs will be on display. The showcase will also provide participants in an immersive experience that will bridge the past with the future.

Their collaborative journey to date and for updates, visit their Facebook Page and soon to be updated website that will house all song, story and phrase animations to date.
