International study on cybersecurity standard for EdTech: Views from the sector!

EdTech vendors are invited to the first international qualitative study examining views from the sector on cybersecurity matters

The objective of the study is to identify common challenges and practices among EdTech vendors with regards to cybersecurity controls and frameworks.

Taking part is anonymous and will directly benefit EdTech participants. The aggregated responses will be used for purposes to advance the development of a common (global) security sector-specific standard. 

The objective of the study is to identify common challenges and practices among EdTech vendors such as yourself with regards to cybersecurity controls, frameworks and standards you adhere to.

The questions we will discuss will focus on:

  • Cybersecurity controls and frameworks that your organisation ascribes to
  • Teams that manage such work
  • Challenges that you address as an EdTech vendor
  • Ideal scenario and motivations of obtaining cybersecurity assessments and certification

Format, time and place: We will meet for a personal interview, which will take no more than 60 minutes. Time, day and communication channel will be decided to suit each participant individually.

Voluntary participation: Taking part in this study is completely voluntary.

Confidentiality and risks: There are no risks from taking part in this study. The information that we will obtain will be will be aggregated and used for purposes to advance the development of a common (global) cybersecurity EdTech sector-specific standard.
